Introduction

Division of Nephrology consists of dialysis therapy, renal function Lab, renal immunology, renal osteodystrophy Lab and clinical toxicology according to clinical practice and research work performance. Hemodialysis (HD) and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) treat patients with acute or chronic renal failure, poisoning and heatstroke.

Renal function Lab offers information and Lab data for those patients presenting with electrolyte and acid-base disturbance. Renal immunology subdivision performs renal biopsy and immunological assay and administers immunosuppressive therapy. Renal osteodystrophy subdivision investigates bone histomorphometry and bone marks in patients with renal bone disease.

Clinical toxicology Lab is equipped with gas chromatography mass spectrum and high performance liquid chromatography etc and can treat serve poisoning patients with toxin confirmation, poison consultation and management.
